22 July 2010: Kaylee at Kellish Hill Farm

Kellish Hill Farm is a totally cool place! They have a music barn where they have musicians come to play. It is a totally idyllic location complete with mini horses (I LOVE mini horses). Kellish Hill Farm has bluegrass/folk music all the time so if you are in the Pompey, NY area - check it out sometime. http://rhbamericana.com/

The night I went, a photo friend's daugther was playing for the open mic night. She was AWESOME and has an AMAZING voice! Her name is Kaylee Hale and you can hear her here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkuMkjWAvN0 Keep you ear open for this young woman!

8 May 2010: Babies

I went down to Ithaca today to take some pictures of friends who are pregnant with twins. They are going to be great moms to these two little bundles who are due in August. We had a great shoot out in some beautiful fields in town.

23 April 2009 Photo: Fun With Color

I was driving by this barn and thought I had gotten some good shots. When I got home and downloaded the photos, I didn't like the way the sky looked so I played around with it a bit and came up with this photograph. I like the orange color of the sky as it plays with the green grass and old wood barn. What do you think?

26 February 2009 Photo: GPS and Mud Season

While I was leaving a school in the "country" (aka the sticks), I set my GPS to get me to my next location. I have become an idiot in directions since I got this technology last year. I knew where I was going and how to get back to the highway but like that informercial about an oven...I set it and forget it.

Next thing I know I am driving down a dirt road in the middle of the spring thaw and the mud was thick and deep. My first experience of "mud season" was when I went to school in Keene. We don't have mud season in RI. I had flashbacks of getting stuck in the mud and getting really dirty. Luckily that did not happen this time but I did see this cool barn while I was driving through the mud.
