Little colored chocolate chips from when I made the cakepops last week...what does that have to do with reading or rainbows (from the blog title)? Absolutely nothing except the way my mind works around weird word associations. I saw colored chips...which lead me to think of rainbows...which lead back to my childhood and thinking about the kid's show Reading Rainbow. I think it is still around but here is a little video to jog your memory of the old school version of the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6j8EiWIVZs
Happy 40th Anniversary Sesame Street! Like so many others, I spent many hours of my childhood watching the monsters on Sesame Street...Oscar, Big Bird, Bert and Ernie, Snuffy and of course Cookie Monster!!! In honor of this momentous day, I decided to make cookies because C is for cookie...that's good enough for me!
