16 November 2009 Photo: Happiness Forever

Almost 13 years ago, I went to China while I working for Semester at Sea. We visited with students at Peking University and one of the students wrote this for me on some rice paper which I got mounted. This was the beginning of a real love affair with travel. I am getting the itch again and dreaming about places like the Maldives, Belize, Thailand. I need to play the lottery more! Yes, I know I already travel more than most for work but I just want to travel for fun fun fun!

Travel season is about to start and I am feeling like Wendy in Wonderland. I am about to slip down the rabbit hole to Road Warrior World. I will be sure to keep my eye out for the March Hare, the Mad Hatter and of course the Chesire Cat grinning at me as I make my way to the Study Abroad Tea Parties. Gotta go...I'm late...I'm late for a very important date!

...in my hands.

As I prepare for my "road warrior" life to begin again, I thought it appropriate to photograph a small globe ornament we have in our home. While I can't say I am eager to start driving hundreds of miles a week again, I am excited to share the world with college students. My job advises students, faculty and staff at colleges and universities around the northeast about the options we have for study abroad with Arcadia .
